Privacy policy
Updated 20 May 2024.
Who this covers
PGHomes is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how personal information is collected, used and disclosed when you use www.pghomesng.com and its subdomains. By using the service you agree to this policy and the terms of service.
“Company”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean PGHomes, based in Nigeria. “You” means a person or entity using the service. Personal data means information that can identify a natural person, directly or together with other information.
What we collect
We collect information when you visit, register, place an order, subscribe, answer a survey or fill a form. That can include your name, phone numbers, email, mailing and billing addresses, payment card numbers and age.
How we use it
To personalise the experience, improve the service, answer you properly, process a transaction, run a promotion or survey, and send periodic email you asked for.
We sometimes receive information from third parties, for example fraud checks when you show interest, or information you have already made public on social media. You control those public settings on the social site itself.
Who we share it with
We may share personal and non-personal information with advertisers, promotional partners, affiliates and a buyer of the business if we merge, sell assets or reorganise. Trusted providers — hosting, email, payments, customer service — receive what they need to do that work.
Log data, including IP addresses, may go to analytics partners to estimate general location, connection and device type. We may also disclose information where we believe it is needed for a legal process, to protect rights or safety, or to comply with law.
If you submit an email you agree to hear from us. You can opt out from any list using the link in the message. We do not send unsolicited commercial email. An address given only to process an order is used for that order, unless you have also given it to us another way.
Transfers, security and retention
We are incorporated in Nigeria. Information may be viewed or hosted in other countries. By using the service you consent to that transfer to the extent the law allows.
We use physical, electronic and managerial safeguards, including SSL for sensitive payment data sent to a payment provider. We cannot promise absolute security. After a transaction, private card data is not kept on file by us.
We keep information only as long as we need it for the service or for a legal duty, then we delete it or depersonalise it.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or correct your information, change what we send you, or delete what we actively hold, subject to backups that are not readily searchable. Contact us to do that. We may verify it is you before we change a record.
Cookies, ads and maps
Cookies identify areas you have visited and remember preferences. We do not put personally identifiable information in cookies. You can disable them in the browser; parts of the site may then fail.
We may use remarketing so people who already visited can see our ads elsewhere, and tools such as the Facebook pixel, under those providers’ own policies. Google Maps, if shown, may collect device information under Google’s policy.
Children, changes and contact
We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will remove it.
If this policy changes we will post the new version on this page. Governing law is the law of Nigeria, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Using the service is consent.
